When you stay at Beacon House, you’ll have your own private room with 2 Queen Beds, and a bathroom with a tub and shower. Several of our rooms feature recliners and shower benches.
There are no TV’s in the guest sleeping rooms, but we instead offer several warm and inviting TV rooms for our guests to enjoy together. Free WiFi also allows guests to use their own devices, like iPads.
We do not allow food in the guest rooms (to minimize the cleaning and amenity replacement expenses) but have provided a beautiful kitchen and dining room for our guests to prepare and enjoy their meals.
Smoking and Tobacco use, Alcohol and Drug use are not permitted on Beacon House grounds.
Pets are not permitted, due to allergens and to minimize cleaning expenses.
Call 906-225-7100 and let our Hospitality Team know what you need! Advance reservations are highly recommended whenever possible.
Walk in reservations are possible during our Desk Reservation hours, Mon-Fri 9 am to 6 pm, Sat and Sun 11 am to 3 pm, but availability of rooms can vary from day to day.
Our Emergency After Hours Phone number is 906-869-9792, and our night team will do our best to accommodate you in every way possible. In certain circumstances we may have to refer you to an area hotel for the night, and further assist you the next day.
We offer our guest rooms without a fee, but instead ask for a donation at the best level our guests can afford. On average, it costs $85.00 per room, per night for us to provide lodging and support.
As a charitable 501(c)(3) organization, our fiscal sustainability is solely reliant on the generosity of our partners:
When Beacon House is at full occupancy, we refer our guests to an area hotel or motel until we are able to provide them with accommodations. In some instances, guests will prefer a TV in their room and want to be able to eat in their rooms. In those cases, we will also refer them to an area hotel or motel to provide them with what they need. Most of the hotels listed below will offer guests a discounted medical rate when making a reservation. Guests are responsible for their own billing, and Beacon House is not able to pay for lodging off site.
